Hi There, does Epiphan push firmware to its products even while they’re streaming? We’ve had a couple times where our event is interrupted as the Nano restarts itself. It’s quite frustrating. Fortunately, it reconnects and begin streaming again leaving a 1 minute gap. Thanks for any help.
Hello, thank you for reaching out on our forums! Our Pearl devices will never automatically download or apply firmware updates. All firmware updates must be triggered manually. They will check for firmware updates, but it is up to the user to apply them.
If you are still running into these restarts I would recommend sending an email to support@epiphan.com. This will open a support ticket in our system and we can investigate the issue more thoroughly.
