Setup local NTP or another synchronization server
The LiveScrypt device is setup to use a web NTP server for time synchronization by default. You can select a different synchronization protocol, enter a different server URL, or setup the LiveScrypt device to get it's time synchronization from a local NTP server using the touch screen and the web interface. The device supports NTP, PTPV1, and RDATE protocols. For instructions on how to access the web interface, see Using the web interface.
To setup the synchronization server for the LiveScrypt device:
- Using the touch screen or web interface, select Settings

- From the Settings, select System to open the System menu.
- Scroll to the Date and time section and do any of the following:
- To enable using the local NTP server, toggle the Enable local NTP server switch On.
- To disable time synchronization, toggle the Enable time synchronization switch Off.
- To change the time server protocol, select a different one in the Protocol field.
- To change the time server URL, enter a new one in the Server IP address field.
- Select Apply.
