Webcaster x2 / Facebook pairing and streaming issues

Hello All,

As of Feb 12, 2024, Epiphan Webcaster X2 is no longer able to pair and stream to Facebook Live due to a change Facebook made to our application.

We have reached out to Facebook for a resolution, and will continue to post updates in this forum post.

Unfortunately, despite the effort of our team, at this time Facebook is no longer supporting the Webcaster X2, and pairing and streaming to Facebook is not possible as of February 12, 2024.

For anyone looking to continue streaming to Facebook, we recommend considering the Pearl Nano. This is Epiphan’s latest generation product, with features such as a front screen, custom layout builder, optional 4k streaming, and more.

You can read more about the Nano here:

It works differently than the Webcaster, as it doesn’t use direct integration with the platforms, but standard streaming protocols which offer a future proof solution. The Nano supports a wide range of industry standard streaming protocols and we are able to add new ones as they are adopted as well, something that was not possible with the Webcaster.

We’re happy to help you upgrade to Nano with a special program for Webcaster owners, so please contact sales@epiphan.com
