when connected to my wifi hot spot (iPhone 6s) I occasionally get a black screen with audio (no video) when broadcasting to fb live. I have the latest firmware, and have had a strong Cell connection when this occurs. It happens so frequently I stopped trying to use the device remotely. Any feedback would surely be appreciated, thanks.
As you point out cellular reception is the biggest variable when using a cell phone hotspot. Have you tried doing an internet speed test on your phone to see what upload speed you are getting at the desired streaming location? It is best to set your bitrate to around two thirds of the upload speed you get, perhaps in this case more like half as it can vary so much more for a cellular connection.
