I have a Zoom meeting coming up next week and it would be great to use the Pearl Mini like so many devices available turning the video USB video output into a "webcam"output so everything the pearl can do would be easily output to any common web based service like Zoom and a host of others. I was forced to buy a video grabber for this request… good for you but not for me.
Unfortunately Pearl does not have the ability to mount over USB like a capture card. as it is a standalone device, like a computer itself, it cannot function in that way.
In order to bring the content from a Pearl into a computer running conferencing software like Zoom, a capture card would be required.
You can capture the RTSP stream from the Epiphan channel to the OBS and use the virtual camera plug-in in it, then ZOOM will capture the virtual camera in the devices
