SRT disconnection

We are having an issue where our SRT stream from a Lumens TR40 PTZ camera (caller) repeatedly disconnects after about 30 seconds and then reconnects to the Pearl Mini (listener) after a minute or so. I’ve tried switching the caller/listener configuration, different resolutions, different latencies, different ports. None of which has changed the disconnect/reconnect issue. I’ve sent this TR40 SRT stream to another decoder (Magewell Pro Convert) and the connection is stable. I’ve also used this same setup configuration with other cameras and have had no issues with an unstable SRT connection.

One thing that is odd is that while the TR40 is sending H264 30FPS, the Pearl Mini is indicating it’s receiving 27FPS. I do not see this with other SRT streams received by the Pearl Mini.

Has anyone else had a similar issue/experience? Any thoughts on a solution?

hmm this is strange behaviour. Does the TR40 support other IP streams like RTSP or NDI HX? If so, could you see if those are more stable?

It might be best to submit at the bottom of our support page so we can take a deeper look

The TR40 does support RTSP and is a stable connection to the Mini. The camera does not support NDI HX.

I will submit through support as well.
