Source does not support time synchronization

My Pearl-2 is telling me my IP cameras do not support time synchronization. The cameras do support NTP and the cameras are using the Pearl-2 as their time source. Why I am getting this message?

This message would be reporting that the incoming IP stream doesn’t seem to have any timecodes within it. This would be separate from the camera itself supporting NTP. This should still work though, you might just have a discrepancy between different sources.

So if I can get the camera manufacturer to add timecodes to the RTSP stream the message would go away?

In theory, yes that should resolve it

So called time stamps are required to sync streams, they are not obligatory for work but they will ensure proper synchronization especially when you have multiple IP streams in Your system
