Pearl Nano/Mini test before arriving at venue

Hello, we are in the process of booking venues around the country to stream 8 concurrent presentations. We plan to use the Pearl Mini and Pearl nano. Is there a test page or something we can send the venue in advance to verify we won’t run into any network issues? Some of the venues are high-schools so I am unsure about their firewalls.

I plan to have techs login to the devices remotes to switch the layouts. We will also be streaming via RTMP.

Any help having confidence these devices will work?

Thank you!!

Each device, on the latest 4.13.0j firmware should have network diagnostic features on the “network” page that allows you to verify connectivity including traceroute, probe, bandwidth and general connectivity testing

If your goal is to get network insight before arriving onsite, You would need to speak to the network admins of each school to verify that the proper options and ports are open on the firewall to support that. unfortunately there is nothing from our device side that can be done without being onsite

As a practical test you could ask them to create test streams from devices on the same port/network that is going to be used by the Pearl.
The standard 3 streaming ports used for RTMP and RTMPS are 80, 1935 and 443 but you can find a list of ports utilized by Pearl here https://www.epiphan.com/userguides/pearl-mini/Content/UserGuides/Streaming/setup/networkPortsUsed.htm?Highlight=network%20port
