Is it ok to keep the Pearl Mini connected and turned on 24/7 or will that possibly cause earlier hardware failure than it might?
We typically use ours about 1 1/2 hours a week (church service) but it could be useful to have it be accessible via the remote access system, Epiphan Cloud.
Assuming the ambient temperature where the Pearl Mini is sitting is not extreme. No problem with it running 24/7.
We have about 15 Pearls deployed (1st-gen, Pearl-2, and Minis) and leave them on 24/7. They’re all in well ventilated AV racks. Current uptime is 95 days (which is when we had a campus-wide power outage)
