just a quick question, the pearl mini do not support m.2 NVME but m.2 SATA. As far as i can see the extension slot for m.2 is in the nvme formfactor, will it work anyways?

Unfortunately, the Pearl Mini does not support either type of m.2 SSD. The expansion slot on the bottom is only used for specific custom work and is not enabled for general usage. The Pearl Nano on the other hand does support m.2 SATA, but does NOT support m.2 NVMe. I hope that this helps!
