Layout Switching while Recording

Hello!

I’ve noticed that when swapping layouts on a channel while recording, my videos get cut, and a new video file is created every time a layout swap is done.

Is this possible to prevent? Ideally I’d like one video file for the entire recording, showing whichever layout is active at the time.

This issue appears if you are doing a layout switch to a different source resolution. To avoid this, simply navigate to the Channel’s Encoding page and uncheck “use current signal resolution as frame size” and manually select a frame size.
