I try to use IP-based authentication from the security tab in order to secure the access to the web interface.
I add in the allowed IP’s the range that i use but the web interface is still accessible from everyone.

Hello there, sorry for the delay in response! I believe the issue here is a very understandable misinterpretation of how this feature actually works. What this section of the interface does is allow access to the local broadcast, not access to the web interface.
If you would like to restrict certain viewers from accessing the local broadcast stream you would use this section. Unfortunately, there is no way to grant web interface access to a specific range of IP addresses.
