We have 3 Pearl-2 units and i’m looking into controlling and monitoring via HTTP commands or using TCP/IP sockets.
First off, there seems to be no way to include user:password in the URL. For example:
http://192.30.23.45/admin/channelm2/set_params.cgi?rec_enabled=on
How to specify user:password inline with the URL?
Yes it works with WGET as per the documentation but that’s not the road i’m looking to take.
Also, there seems to be no HTTP command to get the recording status of a recorder. There are STATUS commands for RS-232 but nothing documented for HTTP.
Any insights would be appreciated!
