Had a network change and now my pearl can't access the internet although exists fine on the local network

After an update of ISP the tech changed my switch settings and I had to reconfigure the pearl 2. I manually plugged in directly, changing my IPV4 settings on teh workstation to talk to the peral 2. I then assigned it a new ip that I chose after looking at my other PC connected to teh switch and running ipconfig. I can now successfully access the admin page of the pearl on that local network but I think something is wrong and the pearl 2 is not able to actually connect to the internet for updates etc. The network tests show this

|Ethernet cable|1000 Mbps|
|MAC address|00:05:b7:ed:b6:a5|
|802.1x|disabled|
|IP address|50.110.94.119|
|Network mask|255.255.224.0|
|Default gateway|N/A|
|DNS servers|0.0.0.0|
|mDNS|TSK600156|
|DNS|could not resolve|
|Captive portal|N/A|
|Internet|error|
|HTTP (port 80)|N/A|
|HTTPS (port 443)|N/A|
|Support server|Could not resolve host: support.md.epiphan.cloud|
|Epiphan Cloud™|Could not resolve host: go.epiphan.cloud|

Any ideas on what could be wrong here? Thanks for any leads

Hello Jack,

It looks like you’re missing a DNS and Gateway based on the test results you shared. It sounds like you have assigned a static IP to this Pearl-2; assuming the subnet and IP are compatible with your network, your local routers IP and possibly Google’s DNS (8.8.8.8) may resolve the issue and result in connection to the internet.

You may ultimately need to reach out to your network admin for the correct information.

I hope this helps!
