The behavior for email responses and registration sounds like there is likely a firewall or network restriction that is blocking or “spamming” responses from Epiphan Video. I would recommend to check your spam folder, and email info@epiphan.com from a different email if no response is received.
there is an Intel-based bug listed in our use guide as a known issues for the device in the user guide. HDMI 1 works, but it is not currently hot-pluggable. The HDMI display must be connected to HDMI 1 before Pearl-2 is powered on. This issue affects every single device on the planet (not just Epiphan) using this Intel based hardware chipset. Until Intel provides a fix for this unfortunately we are at their mercy. HDMI2 is the only hot-pluggable output.
