When looking at Device Manager in Win 7 Pro 64, I see a new heading “Other devices” with “AV.io HD Config” listed next to a yellow exclamation mark, and its properties says “The drivers for this device are not installed”. Is this because I haven’t installed the AV.io Config Tool? - Thanks!
You are correct that the AV.io Config with warning “!” icon is referring to the optional configuration tool. The device will work fine without the configuration tool installed on your computer. If the LED is blue, then the driver is recognized on USB 3.0. If the LED on the AV.io is green then the device is recognized on USB 2.0. If the LED is red, then this would mean the device may not be receiving enough power over USB, UVC drivers of the host system are not being recognized or something else may be occurring that would require further troubleshooting.
