Hello I have AV.io 4K. I want to digitize videos from VHS cassettes. I am sending a signal from gefen gtv-compsvid-2-hdmis to AV.io 4K, but it is not detected. Updated the firmware AV.io 4K to 4.0.0, but it didn’t help.
The video is output from gefen to the monitor, but not output from AV.io 4K.
AV.io Will 4K work in such a scheme? Please tell me where I am wrong.

If the configuration tool reports a signal spec but the image coming through is just a black screen then this could indicate that the converter applies HDCP (signal encryption) to the signal, in which case the AV.io 4K would not be able to capture it. This is something we have seen in the past with these types of converters.
If the configuration tool is reporting no signal whatsoever, then potentially something else is occurring here and we would need to open a support ticket in order to investigate fully.
