System requirements

System requirements are the technical essentials your host computer needs to work with KVM2USB 3.0.

Note: There are no system requirements for the target computer, other than an available USB port and HDMI, DVI, or VGA output port.

KVM Host hardware

Any computer (laptop/desktop/other) with:

  • a compatible USB 3.0 host controller for SuperSpeed operation
  • 64-bit architecture
KVM Host operating system Windows 10 or Linux Ubuntu 16.04 or higher
Processor frequency Minimum recommended value: 2.4 GHz
RAM Minimum recommended value: 4 GB
