Schedule events

 

Starting with Pearl devices running firmware version 4.21.0 and newer, you can use Epiphan Edge to schedule recording and/or live stream events for your Pearl devices.

Your Pearl device must first be paired with an Epiphan Edge account which is subscribed to the Premium plan. Secondly, Epiphan Edge scheduling must be enabled on the device. To enable Epiphan Edge and schedule and event for your paired device:

• Click Edge > All Devices, select the device, then click Events.
• Click Enable Epiphan Edge scheduling on your device.
• Click on the Enable button to confirm.
• Click + Add event.
• Provide:
  • The Event name.
  • Start date and time.
  • End date and time.
  • Select the appropriate Timezone.
  • If this is a recurring event, select Repeat event and configure the recurring schedule.
  • Select which channels will be recorded and or select where your device will stream to.
  • Click the Create button to send this schedule to for this Pearl device.
