Reboot or delete devices
You can reboot your Pearl family devices and LiveScrypt devices remotely from Epiphan Edge and delete a device from your Epiphan Cloud team. With an Epiphan Edge Premium plan, you can reboot or delete multiple devices at the same time. The device must be paired to a team to perform this procedure.
Deleting a device instance completely removes cloud access to the device and deletes any cloud-generated content associated with that device instance. If you pair the device again, a new device instance is created that has no association with any previous instances or the associated content.
Rebooting causes a service disruption for the length of time it takes for the device to recover. It can take some time for the device to fully recover so please be patient.
Reboot or delete devices using Epiphan Edge
Reboot a single device
- From the Devices Dashboard, click the three dots at the end of a device's row and select Reboot. Confirm your selection when prompted.
- Follow the prompts to reboot the device.
Rebooting causes a service disruption for the length of time it takes for the device to recover and come back online. It can take some time for the device to fully recover so please be patient. If you reboot a device from the Device info tab, close the Reboot your device window manually because it may appear to load indefinitely.
Delete a single device
- From the Devices Dashboard, click the three dots at the end of a device's row and select Delete. Confirm your selection when prompted.
- Follow the prompts to confirm that you want to delete the device from the team.

- From the Devices Dashboard, select multiple devices. Then, click the three dots that appears in the banner at the bottom of the page and select either Reboot or Delete. Confirm your selection.
- Follow the prompts to reboot the devices or confirm that you want to delete the devices from the team.
An Epiphan Edge Premium plan is needed to perform batch operations.

- From the Devices Dashboard, choose the group of devices or select individual devices in the group. Then, click the three dots that appears in the banner at the bottom of the page and select either Reboot or Delete. Confirm your selection.
- Follow the prompts to reboot the devices or confirm that you want to delete the devices from the team.
An Epiphan Edge Premium plan is needed to perform batch operations.
