Connects the video grabber to the capture workstation and enables data transfer from the video source to the workstation. The video grabber works best when connected to a USB 3.0 port on the capture workstation, but is also backward compatible with USB 2.0. |

Epiphan always recommends using a USB 3.0 port for best performance. If a USB 2.0 port is used instead, DVI2USB 3.0 transfers video at a lower frame rate and is unable to capture embedded audio.
